<Our Institute’s focus is on an anger management class which will help court ordered anger addicts overcome their anger problems>
Expressing yourself in an assertive-not aggressive-manner is the healthiest approach to handling anger. Assertiveness means that you state your concerns clearly, without controlling or hurting others.
Most classes
teach a core of
skills:
Anger management classes short-term usually consisting of ten to twelve sessions.
Do You Need Anger Management Program?
If your answer is
yes to any of these
questions you are
probably in need of
anger management.
What kind of anger
management training
do you need and
want?
1. Type one is a
classroom or group
setting.
2. Type two is
one-on-one
counseling sessions
with a trained
counselor.
Obviously personal
one-on-one anger
management training
is more personal and
in-depth. Class and
group anger
management is also
helpful but not as
customized for your
needs or provide
personalized
instruction.
Tips to get your anger under control:
Although tips are
helpful they do not
substitute for anger
management classes.
If you have just
minor anger problems
self-help programs
may have some
benefit. But if your
anger is a problem
and because you are
researching this
subject it is very
possible that you
recognize that you
may need help, if
you find that you
do, please get the
help needed. There
is no negative
stigma attached to
seeking and
receiving treatment,
but being an
out-of-control
person adversely
affects your
relationships, and
career advancement.
